Audrey Allen, an 18-month old girl, was killed by Joshua Allen Kruzik.
The baby was killed because she cried in the middle of the night. Joshua Allen Kruzik, an US marine, a friend of Audrey Allen’s parents, was invited to spend weekends at their friends’ home. Before he came to their place, he was at a local bar where he consumed much alcohol. He had to care about the baby, when she cried. But Joshua Allen Kruzik beat the baby too brutally. As a result, the little girl got multiple grave head injuries. The little girl died at a local hospital.
David Kohn, the defense attorney for the murderer, affirmed that steroids were responsible for the aggression of his client. It was affirmed that the killer used anabolic steroids. Before the incident he tried to discontinue applying these drugs but he was not capable to do it. The defense attorney confirmed that anabolic steroids produced “roid rage” in Joshua Allen Kruzik. He couldn’t not control his behavior and beat the little child. According to David Kohn, Kruzik was unconscious. Although the defense attorney claimed that his client was ready to assume the total responsibility, he added that he was not guilty.
The little girl’s parents also confirmed that the murderer applied anabolic steroids. The mother of the baby confirmed that she possessed syringes at her home. So, she injected Kruzik with steroids, when he came. Several other persons also claimed that he took steroids.
It is strange that anabolic steroids are blamed in this case. Are these medicines responsible for the murder? Take in consideration that Kruzen has been drunk, when he has murdered the little girl!
It is unclear whether the judge will accept the steroid excuse.

Feds: muscularity causes addiction

Federal prosecutors don’t possess sufficient knowledge about anabolic steroids, however they pursue those who produce, administer and/or distribute these products. They don’t study scientific literature about these medications. The government uses information which is presented in Wikipedia. Although federal prosecutors speak about side effects of steroids, they don’t know about these conditions sufficiently. He affirms that Wikipedia serves an excellent guide for footnotes. But information written in Wikipedia may be not true wholly.
For example, when John Isaac Hudelson was sentenced to jail, federal prosecutors based their conclusions connected with illicit operations of this person upon affirmations cited from Wikipedia. Federal prosecutors confirmed that Hudelson deserved to serve 47-54 months in prison because he took and distributed steroids. Stephen Greubel, the defense attorney for Hudelson, claimed that 47-54 months in prison were too much for his client. He confirmed that Hudelson distributed steroids, products that differed from such drugs, as amphetamine, methamphetamine, codeine, morphine, etc. The defense attorney noticed that steroids didn’t cause addiction.

Reasons of steroid use

Steroids may be classified into 3 groups: corticosteroids, estrogens and progestogens, and anabolic-androgenic steroids.
Nature of corticosteroids is similar to that of hormones produced in the adrenal cortex. Corticosteroids may be in form of creams, ointment, inhalation medications, etc. They are taken in case of inflammations, allergy, disorders of respiratory, nervous, musculoskeletal and other systems.

Burn victims, individuals with HIV/AIDS administer anabolic-androgenic steroids in order to prevent muscle loss. Some steroids are also directed for treatment of osteoporosis. These medicines are also taken in case of infertility.
Moreover, anabolic-androgenic steroids are administered for athletic purposes. These preparations have ability to stimulate muscle growth and promote enhancing endurance. That’s why many sportspeople and bodybuilders use them for performance-enhancing effects. Some anabolic-androgenic steroids have also ability to promote burning fat, making muscles hard.
Application of anabolic-androgenic steroids for non-therapeutic needs is illegal under laws of certain countries. Authorities should not allow steroid dealers to avoid imprisonment

Fight against doping should be stopped

Lance Armstrong never tested positive for any forbidden substance. But he was stripped of his seven Tour de France titles because the USADA accused him of doping.
You can notice that intake of prohibited preparations is claimed to be a last sin of professional sportspersons. They are banned, if they are found guilty or only suspected of doping.
For example, the British sprinter Dwain Chambers was suspended because he tested positive for tetrahydrogestrinone. This sportsperson affirmed that he was not the only Olympic  runner that used steroids. According to his affirmations, many sprinters of the US racing team took forbidden substances.
Some individuals are probably bothered by reading articles about fight against administration of forbidden products in sports. It seems that the war never ends. However anti-doping agencies put great efforts in order to eradicate doping from competitive sports, many athletes continue administering prohibited products. It is impossible to confront doping. It seems that it is better to legalize application of performance-enhancing drugs. Let athletes apply whatever they desire!
Sportspeople break greater records from one year to another. It will be needed to measure thousandths of a second in order to define who the winner is. It seems that it will be impossible to determine with a naked eye the fastest runners. That’s why some experts fear that it will be too difficult to keep sports interesting.
Several experts recognize that anti-doping systems fail. Athletes that have never tested positive for any prohibited preparation are sentenced to lifetime suspensions. Drug tests can’t promote catching those that administer steroids and/or other doping products.
Doping plays a great role in sports. Almost every winner of Tour de France has been involved in a doping case.
Fans have great expectations. Sportspersons have to push their bodies till the limits in order to win. That’s why it is necessary to discontinue demonizing athletes. It is better to permit doping in sports. Every sport must compose own list of forbidden medicines. Only substances that are harmful to certain sport itself should be banned. Let take the sport of boxing as an example. This sport must prohibit just those drugs which withdraw fear because removing of fear in this sport is against its nature.
