The USADA has publicized a report on Lance Armstrong.
Which impression do readers get, when they study this dossier? It is said that many persons think that every teammate of this cyclist has taken anabolic steroids and/or other banned drugs. But is it true point of view? Has every Lance Armstrong’s teammate doped?
According to the dossier on this sportsman, 11 teammates testified against him, affirming that he took doping products. Furthermore, it was said that Lance Armstrong and the most mates of his team applied sophisticated methods in order to be capable to dope and prevent detection.
However several Lance Armstrong’s teammates admitted to using steroids and/or other related medications, some teammates denied doping. For example, Julian Dean and Patrick Jonker were two teammates of the legendary cyclist that denied using performance-enhancing drugs.
Julian Dean stated that he neither doped, nor saw Lance Armstrong using steroids and/or other related drugs.
As for Patrick Jonker, his statements were like those of Julian Dean. He confirmed that he had never taken any banned substances. He confirmed that he competed cleanly and didn’t take any unfair advantage.
According to Patrick Jonker, administration of steroids and other related substances is a serious problem in cycling. He believes that numerous cyclists dope. He affirms that it is important to fight against intake of performance-enhancing drugs in cycling. But he considers that appropriate methods should be used by anti-doping agencies. This athlete is full of anger, talking about prosecution against Lance Armstrong. Patrick Jonker believes that murderers are less pursued than the American cyclist.
