Livestrong experiences difficulties because of Lance Armstrong’s doping scandal

The USADA released a report connected with doping by the celebrated American cyclist Lance Armstrong. According to the report, this sportsman took steroids and other related preparations. After publishing several sponsors that donated for Lance Armstrong’s charity organization Livestrong decided to cut their links with this sportsman and his charity organization.
One of companies that decided to stop sponsoring the organization which fights against cancer is Nike. This company was working much time with Lance Armstrong. Ultimately Nike announced that it would not have anything longer with the athlete who was cheating more than 10 years.
24 Hour Fitness also refused to collaborate with Lance Armstrong anymore.
Several other companies also made the decision to discontinue sponsoring Livestrong.
However, the former professional cyclist tried to do anything in order to prevent negative influence of his athletic reputation on the organization that helps persons the experience cancer to survive. He confirmed that he would not be the chairman of the organization anymore. Although the sportsperson tried to keep sponsors, he couldn’t do it.
When it comes to the USADA, it announced that Lance Armstrong was found guilty of doping. As a result, he received lifetime suspension. Furthermore, he forfeited all 7 titles acquired at Tour de France.
But the International Cycling Union (ICU) claimed that the USADA made a wrong decision. However Lance Armstrong stopped fighting against accusations pronounced by the USADA, the ICU said that it would appeal the decision even without involvement of the sportsman.
However Lance Armstrong never tested positive for any banned preparation, it was concluded that he was guilty of doping. It was confirmed that he used steroids and other banned preparations but he utilized some simple as well sophisticated methods in order to avoid positives. So, he was able to dope and remain undetectable.
Now Lance Armstrong pays for his doping. The decision of some companies to stop sponsoring his organization is a great loss for this man.
