Some Roger Clemens jurors agreed to be interviewed by Associated Press and New York Daily News

Names of 12 persons (four men and eight women) who acted as jury at the case against Roger Clemens were released by the judge Reggie Walton.
The government wanted the jury to be convinced that the athlete had lied before the Congress about intake of steroids and HGH. But since the jury didn’t believe it, the government criticized the individuals that acted as the jury. Some individuals that acted as the jury were interviewed.
A political activist, an art historian, a teacher of deaf children, an official of Treasury Department and an employee of the Canadian Embassy composed the jury.
Joyce Robinson-Paul, a political activist, was interviewed by the New York Daily News some days after Roger Clemens was cleared of the charges. She confirmed that the jurors understood that they had to be fair to both the government and the sportsperson. But they didn’t find anything that had to be pursued.  Later she also affirmed that the government couldn’t prove their accusations.
The employee of the Canadian Embassy Bradford Weaver stated that the government was wrong. This person noticed that such situations should not be repeated. He also confirmed that there was nothing to be pursued. This person was interviewed by the Associated Press. This person also noticed that every juror was convinced from the very beginning that Clemens was not guilty of any charge. This person pointed that each juror was unanimous.
Bradford Weaver was also asked whether he considered that Roger Clemens really took steroids. Journalists of the Associated Press also asked him whether he thought that the governmental case against the baseball player represented only the waste of taxpayers’ funds. But Bradford Weaver refused to answer the questions.
Another juror that preferred not to be identified noted that the jurors were wondering how the government could spend significant sums of money during 5 years in order to prosecute the baseball player. This person noted that it was impossible to understand why the prosecution lasted for 5 years.
Other jurors didn’t present any information.
As for federal prosecutors, they seemed to be completely disappointed. They refused to respond to the statements pronounced by the jurors.
